Yesterday's post was a little tough for me. I'm one of those, "it's extremely hard to express any emotion and I never should" kind of gals. Now, lets get to the real reason you clicked to view this post....Start drooling everyone. This recipe is Amazing! A few weeks ago Chet and I went to Olive Garden, one of our favorites....have I ever mentioned are are chain restaurant junkies? Any who, They have a limited time red wine squash. It was to die for! I left completely craving more and decided to invent my own recipe. I present to you today, Red Wine Sweet Potatoes with Brown Sugar. Yes. it is fabulous and Yes. It is super easy!
Red Wine Sweet Potatoes
1 sweet potato
2 tablespoon of butter
1 tablespoon of red wine (dry)
1 tablespoon of brown sugar
1 teaspoon rosemary
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Cut sweet potato and place in a small casserole dish. Add 2 tablespoon of butter (slightly melted), 1 tablespoon of red wine, sprinkle 1 tablespoon of brown sugar and 1 teaspoon of rosemary. Heat for 30 minutes and then remove from oven. Let cool about 3 minutes and serve.
So easy and SO delicious!! I've made this a few times already and LOVE it more every time. The combination of brown sugar and wine is to die for! I hope you enjoy!!
